100% varietal, sweet barrel spice aromas mix with dried herb, flower, freshly hewn wood, licorice, and cherry. The palate brings full-bodied, ripe, rich dark fruit flavors. It has a pleasingly thick middle. Coffee notes linger on the finish. Soft tannins with a lighter structure and good mid-palate finish.
Aged 18 months in a mix of new and neutral French Oak barrels.
